[WIP] Slutwalk Curitiba

There are times when just feeling the energy around you is more than enought to make you throw you camera back into the backpack and just enjoy the moment. That is how I felt when I went, accepting an invitation from Livia Cruz, to the Slutwalk Curitiba 2012.

I was amazed at how many different ideologies where united for a common cause. I saw neo-liberals, socialists, marxists, anarchists, and people who don't give a damn about ideologies. All there.

From all the things I saw there, the scene that was the most impressive was a young woman with her dauther, and husband at her side, using a makeup that resembled bloody tears. She was really crying, overwelmed by the joy of the event. It was a beatifull scene and, thanks to André Cruz, who gave me permition to use his pictures as basis for my sketches, I was able to make a quick sketch of it.

And, just to reinforce the messages of the walk: nobody should be judged by who they are or how they choose to live their lives. The only limits to one's freedom is another one's freedom.
